Student volunteers will participate in Fall Fest 2021:
Set up arts and crafts supplies
Bring freecycle items if you have any to donate
Bring items to decorate the studio if you have any you want to donate
Organize and set up donated freecycle items
Create signage for the Fest days
Install the student artworks for display
Help visitors with art and craft activities
Decorate the studio walls with visitors
Show kids the games and craft activities
Greet the public visiting the Media Arts Studio
Tally visitors
Show visitors the website and the art exhibition
Oversee the freecycle boxes and manage any new donations during the event
Clear everything after the visitors leave
Requirements:
- All students and teachers must wear a mask.
- Social distancing is required in the studio

We provide surface cleansing wipes and hand sanitizer.
All staff working in the Studio are fully vaccinated.
GBYM's Media Arts Studio is located in a Montgomery County building where the air circulation and filtration is overseen by the County's maintenance staff. We built out the studio in 2019 and it is 3000 square feet of program space.
GBYM Mission: To create communities where young people build the confidence and media skills to express themselves and to promote community building, multi-cultural understanding, and the common good.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
