Open air flea market with 50-150 vendors on the first Saturday of the month May-November:May1, June 5,July 3, August 7, September 4, October 2, and November 6.
Help needed managing traffic and market operations. Teens will not be asked to interact with vendors or customers or to direct traffic in the street. Training on site, continual supervision. The market has been approved by the County.
We will comply with Covid-19 safety requirements and staff protection in the following ways:
- The markets are held outdoors
- Masks will be required to be worn by staff, vendors and customers at all times
- 6-foot distancing will be required of everyone
- Signs will be posted at entrance and throughout the market about the above requirements
- An off-duty police officer will be hired to secure our collection of fees and to help enforce the rules – to be at the Market the entire time
- Staff will be posted at the entrances with masks to give out and make sure all customers comply with wearing masks, and remind of 6-foot distancing
- The market will be constantly patrolled by staff and security to make sure everyone is complying with the rules
- Only staff who are fully vaccinated will be interacting directly with vendors, customers, or cleaning the port-a-johns.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
