The Germantown Historical Society, Menare Foundation and Boy Scout Troop 1325 sponsor a large Flea Market on the first Saturdays April through November at the MARC commuter parking lot, Rt. 118 and Bowman Mill Dr. in Germantown. Volunteers will help direct traffic inside the customer parking lot, run errands, help customers with purchases and collect trash. Volunteers will work in pairs and will be provided with safety vests and gloves.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
