Help us provide this Halloween event for families at Glen Echo Park! The event runs from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday, October 25th, but we could use support starting at 11am and continuing to 5pm with setup and cleanup. Either join us for the entire day (11:00am - 5:00 pm, 6 hours total) or a half shift (11am to 2pm OR 2pm-5pm, 3 hours total)! Please specify which of the above three shift options you prefer.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Setting up tables, benches, and chairs
Organizing and restocking craft supplies for children and families
Assisting children and families in some easy games (ex: bean bag toss)
Directing visitors to different Trick or Treating locations and answering questions
Participating in/leading a costume parade with children and families!
Cleaning up after the event and putting away tables/benches/chairs/decorations
Costumes are encouraged if you have something comfortable, festive, and family-friendly to show your Halloween spirit! Learn more about the event at https://glenechopark.org/fallfrolic and contact dplumer@glenechopark.org with any questions!
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours.
