Volunteer Receptionist

We are looking for a volunteer receptionist for our administrative office. The volunteer would be expected to be available at least 2 days a week for 8 hours a day. Office hours are Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm. Below are the positions requirements: 

Front Desk Management:

• Greet visitors warmly and professionally.
• Direct guests to the appropriate person or department.

Phone Handling:

• Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously.
• Transfer calls to the correct staff member or take messages when necessary.

Document Handling:

• Scan, copy, and file documents as needed.
• Maintain organized records of scanned files.

Mail and Deliveries:

• Receive and sort incoming mail and packages.
• Notify staff of deliveries or distribute mail accordingly.

General Office Assistance:

• Keep the reception area tidy and welcoming.
• Refill office supplies (e.g., paper, pens, brochures).
• Support staff with miscellaneous tasks as requested.

Customer Service:

• Provide information to visitors and callers.
• Handle inquiries with patience and professionalism.
