Calling all volunteers for Spring Cleaning at New Leaf Shelter. On May 16th, New Leaf Shelter will be cleaning and sorting our storage shed to prepare for the change of seasons. Volunteers will work with our Community Engagement and Volunteer Coordinator, Shawanna Butler, to sort through donated toiletries and cleaning supplies. The volunteer opportunity will run from 9am - 5pm Saturday, May 16, 2026. There will be two shifts 9am - 12pm and 1pm - 5pm.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
