You're invited to SERVE SATURDAY at Journey's Crossing, on June 1st for a morning of service.
Come join us in serving our community for first responders, teacher, homeless, veterans and the elderly along with community outreach! We will be offering 2 SSL Hours for on-site participation for students.
You are invited to show love and support by helping with our assorted community projects at Journey's Crossing. We strive to make a positive difference in our world as we partner with other organizations:
- Women's Coalition,
- Men's Shelter,
- Sheppard Pratt,
- Asbury Village,
- Germantown HELP,
- MOCO educational staff,
- Fire & Police first responders.
We will assemble goody bags, make crafts and banners, assemble kits, food preparation, etc. We add projects as small groups express their passion to meet needs of our local community.
We hope you will join us from 9am-11am,
with pizza served at 11:00.
Some cleanup will be necessary.
Parent/guardians will be asked to pick up your student by/before 11:30am.

Students who respond to this opportunity will earn 2 SSL hours.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
