Let's Play America is looking for enthusiastic teen and adult volunteers to help make our 18th Annual Play Day a fun and memorable experience for children and families in our community.
Volunteers will assist with a variety of activities, including:
- Welcoming and registering participants
- Assisting with games, crafts, and activity stations
- Helping with event setup and cleanup
- Providing general support throughout the event
- Creating a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for all attendees
Event Details
- Date: Sunday, September 13, 2026
- Volunteer Shift: 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM
- Event Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Location: Takoma Park Middle School, 7611 Piney Branch Road, Takoma Park, MD 20912
No previous volunteer experience is required. This is a great opportunity for students seeking community service hours, adults looking to give back, and anyone who enjoys working with children and families.
Volunteer Requirements
- Volunteers must be reliable, friendly, and willing to help wherever needed.
- Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a parent, legal guardian, or another responsible adult (18+) for the duration of their volunteer shift.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization.
