The nonprofit Let's Play America is thrilled to bring our 10th annual Mid-Winter Play Day to the City of Takoma Park's Community Center on Sunday, February 9, 2020. People of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in a variety of activities at this playful event. Congressman Jamie Raskin will lead Simon Says, First Road North band will play, there will be hopscotch, cookie decorating, dancing, giant chess, and more!
Volunteers will set up from noon to 1:00pm, facilitate and play alongside participants from 1:00-4:00pm, and clean up from 4:00-5:00pm. For specific duties and to let us know your t-shirt size all volunteers are asked to complete the Mid-Winter Play Day Volunteer Form LINKED HERE.
All volunteers are also asked to fill out and bring a signed hard copy of the LPA Volunteer Form (attached to this posting). This form is also available on the Volunteer page of our website (letsplayamerica.org).
We welcome volunteers as young as 12 years old. Volunteers of this age must be accompanied by an adult.
