Let's Play America is looking for some playful volunteers to help out at the July 4th Evening Celebration. This event will be held on Maple Ave. in front of the Takoma Park Community Center and Piney Branch Elementary School. Volunteers will be required to set up and take down play equipment, engage with youth, and just have fun! Wear comfortable clothes, shoes, and bring a water bottle.
Food and drink available at event.
Requirements:
-Transportation to and from event
-Able to lift and carry up to 25lbs.
-Proof of vaccination
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
