Local nonprofit Let’s Play America (www.letsplayamerica.org) is seeking fun loving and enthusiastic volunteers for our 14th Annual Mid-Winter Play Day in Takoma Park, MD. This free community event will take place on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Piney Branch Elementary School in Takoma Park. Volunteers will set up activities indoors and outdoors, facilitate and participate in play with participants of all ages, and clean up at the end.
The event will run from 1pm-4pm and volunteers will be called at noon and released by 5pm for a total of 5 hours. SSL forms will be provided for Montgomery County students. Play Days are one of the most fun ways to earn SSL hours. Check out what prior volunteers have had to say about volunteering with us.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
