Live Stream Performing Arts Program

Montgomery County’s annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Tribute: “His and Their Own Words: Reflecting Our Past While Forecasting the Future” will take place at 5 p.m. on Monday, January 18, 2021.
MCPS students can earn 1 SSL hour by attending the virtual livestream event and submitting thoughtful responses to a Google form after the event.
Directions for MCPS students:
- Register for the livestream event at https://mlkmocotribute2021.eventbrite.com
- Watch for day of reminder email with the direct link to the event and instructions on how to participate in the live interactive part of the show.
- After the event, submit thoughtful responses to the SSL Google form at https://bit.ly/2021MLKTributeSSL by 5 p.m. on January 19, 2021
- MCPS students must be logged into their MCPS student accounts to access the Google Form.
- Please complete this form ONLY ONCE and make sure your responses reflect thoughtful insight into the material presented and accurate and thorough coverage of the content.
- Responses to the Google Form must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on January 19, 2021, to earn SSL hours.
- Students do not need to submit a separate MCPS SSL Activity Verification Form for this specific opportunity.
- The MCPS SSL team in central office will review student responses and enter SSL hours into student records by February 19, 2021.
