MCPS Anti-Vaping Symposium
February 27, 2021 - 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
MCPS is hosting a free virtual event on February 27, 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m., to give students and their families the opportunity to hear from experts on the health risks of vaping and preventative measures. The event will feature student speakers, national and local experts, student-created anti-vaping public service announcements, and a community Q&A session. This symposium is co-sponsored by the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services.
MCPS students can earn 2 SSL hours by attending the virtual livestream event and submitting thoughtful responses regarding advocacy action and spreading awareness about this important topic through a Google form after the event.
Please do not respond to this opportunity -- any MCPS student may participate and earn SSL hours for this opportunity by following the directions below.

Information for accessing the Google form will be provided at the conclusion of the livestream event.

After the event, submit thoughtful responses to the SSL Google form provided at the conclusion of the event. To be eligible for SSL hours, all responses must be submitted by 5 p.m. on February 27, 2021.

MCPS students must be logged into their MCPS student accounts to access the Google Form.

The MCPS SSL team in central office will review student responses and enter SSL hours into student records by March 19, 2021.
