MCPS Mental Health Awareness Week
October 10-15, 2022

MCPS students may earn up to 9 SSL hours for attending virtual workshops and participating in follow-up advocacy action during the 2022 MCPS Mental Health Awareness Week.

Students, please DO NOT respond to this opportunity. All MCPS students may participate and earn up to 9 SSL hours during Mental Health Awareness Week by following the directions posted at https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/mental-health/fair/index.aspx 

Asynchronously, students may earn up to 5 SSL hours for viewing videos tagged as SSL and participating in advocacy action throughout the week. Students must complete the 2022 Mental Health Awareness Week SSL Form at https://bit.ly/MHAW2022SSL no later than Friday, October 21, 2022.

Students may also earn an additional 2 SSL hours for participating in each of the following live events that will take place during Mental Health Awareness Week (up to 4 SSL hours total for participation in both events):

• LIVE: Student Voices about Mental Health (Live Q&A Student Panel) - Wednesday, October 12, 2022, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

• LIVE: Mental Health Resource Fair and Q&A Session - Saturday, October 15, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 pm
