Hispanic Heritage Month:
Uncovering the Journey of a Latino Reporter

In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, join Alberto Pimienta, Telemundo 44 anchor, and Lilian Mass, Telemundo community reporter, as they share personal stories about the struggles and victories they experienced in their journeys to become journalists. 

MCPS middle and high school students will receive 2 SSL hours for attending the event and completing a follow-up advocacy component via a Google Form.
