Olney Days Parade is one of the annual Olney Days events. Volunteers will work together with the event coordinator, following the parade groups, to pick up any dry trash in the staging area on Prince Philip and the parade route to Spartan Rd.
WE DO NOT GO INTO THE ROAD TO PICK UP TRASH ONCE THE ROADS ARE OPEN TO NON-PARADE VEHICLES.
Please wear work gloves. In the past, the trash has been candy wrappers, papers, and debris like feathers from floats.
- A cellphone number and email address are required for event reminders. Please provide additional phone numbers (if available) under the 'additional volunteer information' section in your response.
- SSL Forms will be available on-site. (Please do not bring your SSL forms)
- A maximum of 8 hours of SSL can be provided and approved per day

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours.
