We’re gearing up to pack the thousands of collected shoes from our annual shoe drive, and we need your help! The packing event will take place on Saturday, November 9th from 1 PM to 5 PM at 17001 Germantown Rd, Germantown, MD. We’re looking for plenty of volunteers to help make this event a success!
Details:
- Location: The address is the driveway next to the Quince Orchard Substation. (Please note that this is a private residence located next door to the Substation).
- The event is outdoors and you will be handling used shoes.
- Gloves and hand sanitizer will be provided.
- Please dress appropriately for the weather and note that restroom access is limited.
- SSL hours are available—just bring your form to get it signed.
- Feel free to bring shoe donations of any type, size, or condition.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
