Teens comfortable directing drivers entering our horse trials after receiving instruction can earn up to 8 hours of SSL at the SVPC horse trials as a parking team member. We need parking team members beginning at 6:45 am this Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30.
The jobs online end at noon, but we can use your additional hours as a parking substitute if you need more hours. On Saturday rides end at 5 pm and on Sunday rides end at 3 pm.
Parking team members bring their own chairs and can bring school work or electronic devices for quiet times and are stationed to help direct vehicles as they enter the site. In addition to SSL hours, you will receive lunch, snacks and an SVPC T-Shirt. Positions are listed online here. You're welcome to volunteer with a partner, and you will both earn SSL hours.
If the hours in the online sign up do not work for you, you can let our volunteer coordinator know the times that work for you and we can create a custom shift for you.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
