As leadership council on the Montgomery County COAD, So What Else (SWE) has shifted its posture from out-of-school-time providers to emergency aid providers. We are collecting & distributing non perishable food items, books/educational/art supplies, baby food, formula & diapers.
We are operating between 10am & 5pm.
- We need drivers age 18+ to pick-up distribution materials from Rockville Headquarter (address will be provided post-registration) drive materials to the distribution site, set-up, distribute, clean-up & breakdown. There will always be a staff or a trained volunteer leading the distribution. If you are interested in becoming a trained distribution operator, let us know. We are need volunteers who are willing to commit ongoing. This is not a one-time volunteer opportunity as we are fervently working to keep excessive exposure at a minimun.
We are seeking folks willing & able to be flexible as the world of food recovery & donations management is ever-changing & new resources are always incoming. We thank you in advance for your patience.

If you are a high-risk individual with medical conditions such as heart disease, lung disease, diabetes, immune deficiencies, or are among the elder population, please do not volunteer at this time. We sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your consideration; however, per CDC recommendations we feel this is the best call for those with increased vulnerabilities.

- Have you knowingly had contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 or is experiencing fever, cough or shortness of breath?
- Are you showing any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath?
- Is someone in your home showing any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath?
- Have you traveled to a Level 2 or 3 Travel Advisory Country within the last 21 days?
- Have you knowingly had contact with a traveler who visited Level 2 or 3 Travel Advisory Countries within the last 21 days?
