The Nadim Khan Memorial Homeless Resource Day serves Montgomery County residents by providing a one-day one-stop opportunity for people experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of homelessness to access a wide variety of resources and services.
300 volunteers are needed on that day to help with a variety of tasks:
- Guide - Assisting guests navigate services and resources
- Giveaway Area - Assisting to distribute give away items
- Registration Table - Helping at guest, volunteer, service provider and exit tables
- Runner - helping to provide support to guests and service providers
- Parking or traffic assistant
Groups as well as individuals are welcome to register to volunteer. However each individual within the group will need to follow the link to register separately for nametags, tshirt, lunch orders, etc.
