Guitar Pals Mentors (Music and Mentoring Program)

Middle and High School students who are currently studying and are proficient in guitar will mentor an elementary or middle school student as part of the after school clubs programs. The younger student will be designated by economic need and interest in music. He/she will be selected by the school counselor and music teacher as someone who would benefit from, but cannot afford, private music lessons. This program will be coordinated by The Tacy Foundation. Intern and music curriculum will be arranged and provided by The Tacy Foundation. Must be studying and playing guitar proficiently. Selection will be based on skill, experience in music, and congeniality, and excellence as a role model in school.
