VisArts Center needs volunteers to help us engage with visitors! We are a vibrant arts community located in Downtown Rockville. We are looking for individuals that have a passion for art, are looking for a career in the arts, and want to engage with all kinds of people visiting our space.
Volunteers will have the following responsibilities:
- Sitting at our gallery desks and greet visitors as they come in.
- Count our visitors and make sure that art work is not being touched or disturbed.
- Answer questions about our current and future exhibits in programming.
- Engage in conversation with visitors looking for a broader discussion about the artwork on display.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
