On June 21, Montgomery County and the Office of Human Rights is hosting a free vibrant Juneteenth celebration filled with joy and community at the BlackRock Center for the Arts from 12-10pm! Attendees will enjoy live concerts and performances, browse a bustling artisans market showcasing unique handmade goods, and savor delicious food from local vendors. The day will be packed with captivating performances and talks that celebrate the rich culture and history of Juneteenth.
We are seeking volunteers to assist with the following:
Parking Lot Attendant
Be the first friendly face guests see! As a Parking Lot Attendant, you’ll direct vehicles, control parking based on parking list, and help ensure guests find parking safely and efficiently. You’ll also answer basic questions and guide guests to the entrance. This role is ideal for friendly volunteers who are comfortable standing and working outdoors.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
