9/11 Day of Service - "Blessing Bag" Project!

In honor of 9/11 Day of Service, we will be hosting a Blessing Bag project to benefit homeless veterans. Let's brighten their day with our "Blessing Bag" :)

COVID GUIDELINES:

All volunteers are REQUIRED to follow all the guidelines below to participate in this project:

• Due to social distancing regulations, parents are asked to drop off (5pm)/pick up(6pm) their kids PROMPTLY at the specified times.
• All volunteers are required to wear masks and gloves at ALL times!
• The temperatures of each volunteer will be checked before starting the project.
• There is no access to restrooms or water fountains at the location. Please feel free to bring your own water bottle.
• All volunteers are required to sign a liability waiver & photo release form (will be emailed!)
• Rain Date: Sunday, September 13th 9am-10am (Same location)!

VOLUNTEER HOURS: 

• Volunteers assembling care packages will be receiving 1 hour of community service (ONLY the 15 youth volunteers who had signed up to assemble care packages are allowed inside the facility) 

Those who have signed up to donate items, please drop them off by September 11th.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
