Make A Difference Day

On May 18, from 10 am to 4:00 pm the Difference makers Organization will be hosting it's annual Make a Difference Day.  The day is full of service opportunities beginning at 10 am.    The service opportunities are as follows:

1. Removal of invasive plants

2.  Sorting of produce for our food recovery and redistribution program

3.  Community clean-up

4.  Planning and creation of a composting program and rain garden

5.  Storm drain painting

6.  Pinata Making for Extra-Ordinary Birthdays

7.  Book labeling and sorting for our Reading Reconnects Families

8.  Paper Bridges - Letters to Orphanages

9.  Birthday Card Making

10.  Totes for Hope - Hygiene Bags for the Homeless

11. Bag Lunches for local shelters

12.  Pin crating for awareness of endangered species

13.  Projects for Paws - creation of pet toys for animal shelters

14.  Bird House painting

15. School Landscaping

16.  positive Post-its Program - Putting positive messages on post-it notes

17. Car Wash - We will raise money to support Student Service and Leadership Opportunities
