Community Tabling Event (MD)

We will be joining for two community events in the coming weeks to spread the word about our organization and our work. On Friday, October 7th, we will be at the Greenbelt (MD) Middle School Hispanic/Latinx Celebration from 6 PM - 8 PM. And on Friday, October 14th, we will be joining for the Takoma (DC) Elementary School Hispanic Heritage Celebration from 6 PM - 7 PM. 

Volunteers joining for these events will assist us with a variety of support including but not limited to help setting up and managing our event table, providing attendees with Ayuda swag and information brochures, speaking to attendees about our organization's work, and breaking down/packing up our tabling supplies at the end of the event. 

We are looking for 2 volunteers to join us at each of these events. Fluency in Spanish is required for these volunteer opportunities. 

For the Oct 7th event at Greenbelt (MD) Middle School, our sign up will be a 2.5 - hour opportunity from 5:30 PM - 8 PM (2 VOLUNTEERS REQUESTING)

We will be implementing our COVID-19 policy for ALL volunteers effective immediate as all individuals joining us must submit proof of their vaccinations (full dosage/dosages + booster) prior to their joining. If you forget, you can show proof upon joining but volunteers who do not submit prior nor show proof at the time will unfortunately be turned away and not permitted to join. This policy is in line with our organizational culture and is important in maintaining the health and safety of all staff, interns, beneficiaries, and fellow volunteers.
