Opportunity Title: In Kind Donation Transport
Opportunity Description: We are looking for volunteers to assist us with the transport of winter packs from a downtown DC volunteer engagement leading back to our downtown DC office.
A valid driver's license registered and insured in the driver’s name and access to a personal vehicle will be required of all volunteers for these opportunities.
Department/Individuals Assisting Ayuda’s Social Services Team
Responsible to: Our Volunteer Coordinator, Connor Paul
Responsibilities:
- Transporting winter packs from corporate volunteer engagement to our DC office
- Loading winter packs into vehicle to transporting in
- Unloading winter packs from vehicle transporting in at the corporate volunteer engagement
Opportunity Requirements:
- Required:
- Valid driver’s license
- Access to a personal vehicle that is registered and insured
- Strong cross-cultural communication abilities
- Being a team player
- Positivity and enthusiasm for our work
- Preferred:
- Bilingual abilities with a preference for fluency in Spanish
- Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 10 lbs.
Commitment:
- Volunteers will need to meet us at the volunteer site in downtown DC for the pick up on Friday, Wednesday, November 29th at 4:00 PM
Technology Needed: No technology is needed to assist with this opportunity other than a personal vehicle.
