Please join our packing party this MLK weekend to help us create Emergency Period Kits that will be distributed to those in need in our community. Exact address will be given to those that respond.
The PATESI Foundation invites individuals, schools, community groups, and businesses to join our mission by helping us create kits. Your team can help ensure that girls and women in need have access to period essentials that support dignity, confidence, and opportunity.
What You’ll Do:
* Create Emergency Period kits that will go to those in need in the community and to girls going into foster care.
Who Can Participate:
*Individuals, families, schools/students, sororities/fraternities, faith-based and civic organizations, businesses and corporate teams.
Why It Matters:
1 in 4 students miss class due to lack of access to period products. Together, we can ensure that no girl is held back because of her period.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
