The focus of Sunday Stuffing will be the “All the Fixin’s” project that will provide 550 bags of Thanksgiving essentials to families from Abram Simon Elementary School, N Street Village, National Capital Area YWCA, Friendship Place, and Carrie Simon House.
Register and tell us how many bags you and your family will put together.
SSL Hours
You will earn one SSL hour for every three bags that are donated. You must include a "Happy Thanksgiving" card for each bag. The time taken into consideration for SSL is the time in the store shopping for items, for assembling the items into the bags, and for writing the cards. Please do not include your full name, email address, or home address, and please do not include any pictures or real-life images of yourself on the bags or cards.

Go Shopping
Use this list to go shopping to get the items needed.
Fill up a tote bag with the items on the shopping list.
Return the Full Bags
Return the bags to Temple or JBSC on Sunday, November 21 between 1 and 3 p.m. We will have volunteers to help remove bags from vehicles. If this date doesn’t work for you, please contact Rich Gordon to make other arrangements,

Take a photo of the student with the completed Thanksgiving cards and with the full bags that are being donated.
Email photo to Ira Miller at imiller@whctemple.org with student's name, grade and school.
SSL form will be returned via email.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety and privacy at any time the student is interacting with the nonprofit and its clients. The nonprofit organization will determine the number of SSL hours awarded based on the evidence submitted. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns. This service activity is designed to be completed within the safety of the student’s home until the end of the 2021-2022 school year.
