Volunteer: Perfect for Groups - Support New Neighbors with a Welcome BasketWhen families move into AHC's affordable housing communities, we like to give them Welcome Bags filled with essential household supplies to say "welcome home."Volunteers will purchase all the items to fill the bags. A large, sturdy, reusable tote bag with a square or rectangle base is ideal. For purposes of hygiene and dignity, we ask that all items are new, unopened and unused. Please make sure items fit into the bags and limit your donations to the items listed below. We do not have the space or capacity to accept other items. Most volunteers find it useful and cost-effective to purchase items in bulk, as long as each final product has all the necessary items in it.
