Volunteer: Now Recruiting Summer Camp Counselors at Camp Ascent!

Are you passionate about working with youth, building community, and creating unforgettable summer experiences? Join our Summer Camp team and make a lasting impact in the lives of children and teens ages 6–17 of African descent and friends!

Our camp provides a fun, supportive, and culturally enriching environment where campers can learn, grow, build friendships, and celebrate diversity. We are seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and caring counselors who are ready to mentor, lead activities, and help create a safe and positive experience for every camper.

Counselor Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
* Supervising and engaging campers throughout daily activities
* Assisting with games, arts, educational programs, and field trips
* Promoting teamwork, respect, and inclusion
* Serving as positive role models and mentors
* Helping maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming camp environment

Ideal Candidates Are:
* Energetic, dependable, and patient
* Passionate about youth development and community engagement
* Strong communicators and team players
* Experienced in working with children or interested in gaining leadership experience
