Volunteer: Garbage RecyclingGarbage recycling Volunteers recycle garbage once a week Sorting plastic, glass, metal and cardboard recyclables Placing them in two or more different recycling bins (Provided by MCPS free on yearly basis) Take photos of garbage collection (mark the time on the edge of the photo) (tape a piece of paper with the date written on it in large print to the recycling bins and then take a picture) The sample of picture for the garbage recycling Make a weekly log. We would ask a student to reflect into the weekly log where students describe the type of materials they recycled for that week, the sorting that they completed, and any revelations/discoveries they made in completing this service activity.Sample 6. Send annotated photos and photos to our official email alex@cleanplanetcollective.org once a month. 7. The other type of garbage container is also fine, but the size need to be at least 20*30*40inches (similar to the size of the MCPS bin), and they must be placed with a MCPS blue bin when taking photos. 8. 9. 1 SSL Hour per week Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety and privacy at any time the student is interacting with the nonprofit and its clients. The nonprofit organization will determine the number of SSL hours awarded based on the evidence submitted. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
