Affordable Homes & Communities (AHC) offers countless volunteer opportunities, and one is sure to be perfect for you. From tutoring students to distributing free groceries and from helping out with bingo night to book club, at AHC we support residents however we can. Volunteers can even serve from home, with do-it-yourself projects like assembling snack bags or welcome bags. We welcome volunteer groups to be creative; we love taking your skills and interests and turning them into events for our residents. Volunteer: Field Day - July 30Affordable Homes & Communities (AHC) organizes fun events for residents to relax and get to know each other. On Thursday, July 30, 3:30-6pm, we're hosting a "Field Day" event for all ages at Allium Place in Silver Spring. There will be food and water games so children and adults can have fun, relax and be together. Volunteers are needed to help with set-up, sign-in, activities, giving out snacks and clean-up.
