

Who We Are
Good News provides chaplains to jails and prisons in the US and around the world. Good News has provided chaplaincy and regligious programming to the incarcerated men/women of Montgomery County, MD for over 50 years. The chaplain serves as pastor, counselor and friend to all inmates regardless of their religious affiliation and also is available to minister to the spiritual needs of the correctional staff and administration. Good News has nearly 300 chaplains in the US and in 24 countries.
What Volunteers Do
Volunteers assist the chaplain in providing spiritual counsel, spiritual instruction, religious programming and pastoral care to the incarcerated population.
