Maryland Youth Pipe Band

We have been a part of the MoCo community for over 50 years, first as the Peary High School Pipe Band, then the Rockville High School Pipe Band, and now we are the Maryland Youth Pipe Band. As always, our mission is to facilitate musical instruction and to provide group performance opportunities to school-age youth who are learning to play bagpipes and/or Scottish drums while promoting traditional pipe bands and Celtic culture within the community.

We produce world class musicians as well as just really good ones through instruction, competition, and performances. Our competitions are against adult bands and we often win. And we bring our music and culture to the people through parades, festivals, and other performances.
