Nepal Education and Culture Center

First Nepali Cultural and Education Center in the USA, working to promote the Nepali culture and tradition of Nepal. Nepali Pathshala of Maryland is under NECC, which is involved in teaching kids the Nepali language.

Most of the activities in the NECC are carried out by the dedicated efforts of volunteers. Students may assist in the event set up, cleanup, setting up tables and decorations, food distribution and packaging, register participants, assist in the breakdown of tables, chairs, trash removal, run youth programs under the supervision of adults, assist teachers to run Nepali language class etc. Nepali language classes and cultural programs are run through out the year.
