What Volunteers Do
The Patcha Foundation is focused on reducing the burden of cancer and HIV on vulnerable and underserved populations. To achieve this the Patcha Foundation engages and increases awareness through health fairs, workshops, conferences, an annual walk, medical missions and other innovative activities such as the Not Pink or Blue but Black tug-o-war, a family fun event on the National Mall in DC that highlights the cancer inequities among Blacks.
Volunteers assist during events with set up and breakdown, flyer distribution, participants registration, and clean up.
