NASSP Student Leadership

The vision of NASSP (National Association of Secondary School Principals) is: Great leaders in every school committed to the success of each student. NASSP Student Leadership specifically provides student leadership opportunities and services and administers the National Student Council, National Honor Society, National Junior Honor Society, and National Junior Honor Society affiliate programs.

NASSP Student Leadership believes that when students believe in their agency and efficacy to positively influence school culture, community, and learning, schools and students are more likely to thrive within schools and communities and also as future leaders. Programs and Services administered include: 1) the NHS, NJHS and NatStuCo programs 2) NHS Scholarship 3) Adviser of the Year recognitions 4) Outstanding Service Project of the Year awards 5) Prudential Spirit of Community Awards 6) National Student Council and LEAD Conferences 7) Ready, Set, Vote with DoSomething 8) National Student Leadership Week 9) National Student Initiative: No Kid Hungry (through 2021)
