Who We Are
We are a non-profit that makes homemade cotton face masks and donates all the proceeds to a different charity every month. We sell the masks for a minimum of $5 but customers can choose exactly how much they want to pay for the masks. We aim to help our community during the pandemic by donating all the money to different charities to help people during the pandemic. As of December 2020, we have raised $17,381.89 and have made 2352 masks.
What Volunteers Do
Student volunteers would be sewing masks, packaging orders, organizing, and even researching future charities to donate to. We would teach volunteers our method of sewing the masks and there would be no prior sewing experience needed; we have taught people how to sew! Volunteers would gain sewing experience and be able to give back to their community at the same time.
