Who We Are
Bare Necessities Foundation, Inc is a non-profit, ALL VOLUNTEER organization that supports and empowers local families in need by providing them with the "bare necessities" such as furniture, clothing and household goods in order to allow our families to focus their efforts and income on building better futures for themselves.
What Volunteers Do
We can find a volunteer job for any skillset!
For instance, volunteers can be:
- Movers - we need lots of help moving furniture and household goods, this is a great one for SSL hours!
- Drivers w/ cars - we need drivers to transport furniture and household goods (adults only)
- Sorters: we have lots of donations that need sorting and organizing, great for SSL hours and adults!
- Office Helpers: we have data entry and other office tasks that always need to be done, this one is great for SSL hours and adults!
- Grant Writers: we are so busy moving that we don't have time to apply for grants! If you have any time to research grants and or write them you would be our very favorite volunteer! (Just kidding, we love all our volunteers! Shhhh...No really, you'd be our favorite!)
