Who We Are

Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School is the newest high school in the Archdiocese of Washington. It is a unique partnership between the Archdiocese of Washington, the Salesians of Don Bosco and the Cristo Rey Network of Schools. Students come to Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School because they dream of going to college and deserve a great educational opportunity, despite having limited financial resources. Everyone participates in the Corporate Work Study Program where they gain professional work experience and earn money to pay for a portion of their education. In the tradition of the Salesians of Don Bosco, Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School emphasizes the importance of Faith, Family, Future, and Fun in education. Our teachers and staff know that every student needs a loving, supportive environment in order to succeed. In this environment, students at Don Bosco Cristo Rey will receive new opportunities that help them discover their academic potential and other natural talents.

What Volunteers Do

Don Bosco is the school that works! We are seeking volunteers to assist in Professional Development for Freshman Leadership Academy on Mondays. Classes will focus on topics such as: • Professionalism • Business Communication • Teamwork • Goal Setting We strive to build mutually beneficial relationships between volunteers and students. Not only do volunteers receive the satisfaction of helping a student but the student benefits from the positive relationships being formed. We invite you to become part of our mission by volunteering your time and talents to help our students.
