Who We Are
We are an all-volunteer non-profit group dedicated to preserving the history of farming in Montgomery County, MD. We stage several weekend events each year to attract the community to the Montgomery County Agricultural History Farm Park to show off the farm, animals, farmhouse, and grounds to others while educating people in past farming practices.
What Volunteers Do
Volunteers help with various outdoor events at the farm park during the year. Such as the annual Gas and Steam Engine Show, Blacksmith Show, Harvest Festival, and Bluegrass on the Farm music concert. Volunteers may help with event preparation such as setting up chairs and tables or providing food to customers or making sno cones or helping in the tool museum or with various other tasks.
