Who We Are
Seneca Creek Watershed Partners (SCWP) protects the largest watershed in Montgomery County — covering 129 square miles. The Seneca Creek watershed includes Great Seneca, Little Seneca and Dry Seneca Creek and their tributaries. Seneca Creek watershed is roughly bounded by Darnestown, Poolesville, Clarksburg, Damascus, Germantown, Montgomery Village. Laytonsville, and Gaithersburg. We envision Seneca Creek Watershed in excellent ecological health with clean water, thriving native flora and fauna, and a community engaged in its protection.
