Who We Are
Education is a basic human right. All of us here wouldn’t be able to imagine our lives without it, yet 72 million children around the world remain unschooled, and the leading cause for that is a lack of educational resources in poverty-ridden areas. Education is the key driver for productivity, creativity, and innovation, and it plays a crucial role in the economic development of these countries. We are five students that recognize this disparity among third-world countries and feel an unrelenting obligation to give kids like us the same opportunities that we consider a human right. Teaching the younger generation skills in computer science has only been one step in our journey. We are fighting to make education a norm in developing countries just as it is here in the US, and our next step is funding the resources needed to make the dreams of students all over the world become a reality.
