Town of Somerset

We are a small municipality located in Chevy Chase, MD. The Town of Somerset is located between Friendship Heights and Bethesda, right off of Wisconsin Avenue. The town is a small enclave that is almost entirely residential. It was incorporated in 1906, and has a Mayor, Town Council, and small administrative government, as well as a robust volunteer community.

Volunteers can help pass out flyers for events, and take part in community activities. The Town puts on various events throughout the year, including a community service event. In addition, the Town has several community volunteer committees, such as environment, parks and natural resources, public safety, and many others. Students are eligible to serve on Town committees.
