Who We Are
STEM4all is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Bethesda, Maryland. We strive to promote STEM exposure for students of all levels and backgrounds. We aim to break down race and gender barriers in STEM by exploring different careers and nurturing interest in a welcoming and safe environment.
What Volunteers Do
Recently, we partnered with the National Center for Children and Families (NCCF) to bring STEM education to the greater community. NCCF is a nonprofit organization in the Washington metropolitan area that serves more than 50,000 people. They aim to preserve childhood and the quality of life of homeless families, victims of domestic violence, and neglected children. We will be bringing experiments to them in an event called STEM Fridays starting in January. These kids will get to explore different STEM fields and topics, opening up a new path for them! Volunteers will work with children five years old and up to teach them STEM as mentors and friends.
