Who We Are
The Montgomery County Babies Born Healthy Program (BBH) is an initiative developed in response to Montgomery County's high disparity in infant mortality rates. BBH is a comprehensive program that delivers targeted care coordination services to pregnant, Medicaid eligible women residing in the Eastern and Southern areas of Montgomery county. These areas have some of the highest adverse pregnancy outcomes in the County.
What Volunteers Do
Our BBH has several programmatic opportunities throughout the year. We table and put on community events, offer youth activities for the children of our clients, and offer rotating educational classes for clients. Volunteers are needed to help us execute these programs; and expose them to the breadth what it means to work in public health.
