Rolling Terrace PTA

The Rolling Terrace PTA is a nonprofit organization that exists to support Rolling Terrace Elementary School (RTES). RT PTA provides programs that enrich students’ educational experiences and help build community. A few of the programs we sponsor include the Fun ‘n’ Fit Fest, GeoBowl, After School Enrichment Activities, Mini-Grants to RT Teachers and the Latin Dance. Through these and other PTA programs we hope to help RTES achieve the educational potential of all students and to create a strong community where every RTES child, parent, caregiver and staff member feels included. RT PTA is run completely by volunteers! The PTA leadership includes a board of directors along with other volunteers who chair different activities. However, PTA programs could not exist without the numerous volunteers that it takes to pull off an event.

Volunteers do everything at the Rolling Terrace PTA. This is an all volunteer organization. Volunteers who are not RTES parents or guardians typically help the RT PTA at community events held at Rolling Terrace. Some examples include helping setup or take down the book fair, serving food at the Valentines dance, collecting tickets at BINGO night, and much more. Volunteers can also help with photocopying and stuffing mailboxes to help get information out to the school community.
