Who We Are

The Asian American Women Entrepreneurs Association (AAWEA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and uplifting Asian American women in business. Founded in the Washington D.C. area, AAWEA provides a comprehensive platform for women to grow, connect, and thrive as entrepreneurs. Our mission is rooted in the belief that every woman has the potential to succeed, and we are committed to offering resources, mentorship, and opportunities that foster entrepreneurial success. Through events like our HerPower Forum, workshops, and coaching programs, AAWEA helps women develop the skills, confidence, and connections needed to excel in the business world.

What Volunteers Do

Volunteers assist in organizing and running events, including setting up for workshops, managing registration, and providing logistical support during our signature programs like the HerPower Forum. They also contribute to community outreach by helping with social media campaigns, creating event materials, and promoting AAWEA’s mission to a broader audience. Through these activities, volunteers not only gain leadership and communication skills but also make a meaningful impact by empowering Asian American women in business.
