Resilient Health Communities (RHC) is a volunteer-led nonprofit rooted in Silver Spring, Maryland. RHC combats cognitive decline and social isolation through intergenerational circles and evidence-based brain health tools, including the Stronger Memory program. We empower communities to build resilience by fostering connection, encouraging healthy habits, and sharing practical wellness resources. While intergenerational, RHC focuses on seniors.
What Volunteers Do
Assist with community events from planning to execution including helping with Resilient Health's flagship program, which is Stronger Memory, a brain health program. A special need is technology to help seniors understand how to use technology and to help create and upload social media posts to engage members and reach others
